Bushra Satkhed

Bushra Satkhed is an Indian journalist and author. She has worked for prestigious publications such as Mirror Now (Times Network), NDTV, and The Indian Express. She has been featured on national television and her articles have been published on various national platforms. She is pursuing her PhD in journalism and mass communication. She self-published her first book at the age of 14, called The Sender. She loves to experiment with every genre of fiction and has successfully authored murder mystery thrillers, children’s illustrated books, a cookbook and now a historical romance drama. Writing has always been therapeutic for Bushra. She successfully runs a freelance business online to fuel her passion for graphic design, which launched in May
2019 named after her mother @nishats.designstore. You will find her experimenting with new cuisines in the kitchen or crafting and painting artwork during her free time. She is known as @thejournalistnextdoor on Instagram where she creates a variety of content for her audiences.
