Dr Liat Yakir

Dr. Yakir is a biologist, author, and lecturer in the fields of the biology of emotions and human behavior. She has a Ph.D. in genetics and an M.Sc. in hormone research from the Weizmann Institute of Science. She also has a B.Sc. degree in life sciences from Tel Aviv University.

Her extensive training in biology, combined with her ability to make scientific knowledge accessible to various audiences, made Dr. Yakir one of the most sought-after lecturers in many countries.

Her first book, ‘A Brief History of Love,’ about the biology of romantic love, was published recently by Watkins Publishing and is an international a best-seller.
